PR work within MONITOR
Public relations work plays a big role for making a project known in the participating countries and third states and within the identified target groups which could benefit from the project results. Dissemination activities were given great attention already when drafting the application form. PR work included similar tasks in all project fields.
For the success of a project it is necessary that the project and its results are presented as often and clear as possible. In order to achieve broad publicity the Project Partners had to endeavour to reach as many target groups as possible via various media.
But also internal communication between the partners is indispensable. Besides the common work in the project, all partners have to be kept up to date concerning the (national) activities of the other partners, so that they can refer to their tasks and results and can give information about the other project partners to interested people.
In MONITOR different specialised transnational working groups were installed, like the "methodology working group" and "ontology working group" which produced own results and internal reports. The achievements of these groups were transferred to the whole working group at regular or extra meetings.
